My mom is making me nervous

So obviously I"m really excited to go to Exeter but my mom is blowing it really out of proportion. Now I can't go 10 minutes with her alone in a room without her telling me to make sure I'm social and "participate". I mean what does she think I'm going to do, and when I said I wanted to wat the last Harry Potter on the weekend she gets so excited and thinks I'm going to have a million friends to go with. maybe I will and maybe I won't but really her hyper active attitude is getting to me and now I cant go to sleep til almost 2 in the morning. *Sigh* but I guess I can't blame her though, but I'm really hoping my roommate isn't rude or puts people down because then I KNOW we won't get along. Things are getting tense only 5 days and my family in Jamaica is pretty upset that i won't be coming and I'm upset too but they support me and that's all I need, so see you guys on Sunday!!
